UXPA International reserves the right to decline a proposal for conference at any time.
UXPA International sessions may be videotaped and made available to various audiences during and after the conference. Conference video, still photographs, and quotes may be used and/or repurposed in promotional materials for UXPA International, including but not limited to the website, print materials, and social media. By attending this session, attendees authorize UXPA International to use and publish their likenesses and comments without compensation, and waive any rights in the intellectual property therein. Participants agree to hold UXPA International harmless from any liability regarding the recorded materials.
Presenter also grants UXPA International and its sublicensees the following rights:
The right to (a) reproduce and distribute in any format or media any handout materials or other materials which you make available as a supplement to your submission (“Materials”); and (b) include the Materials individually or as part of a collective work distributed before, during or after the Conference, including, but not limited to, on the UXPA International website. UXPA International recommends that you attach a notice of your copyright ownership on the cover page of your Materials.
Presenter must secure any necessary permission for copyrighted work not created by nor the property of Presenter that is incorporated into your presentation or distributed/used in your Materials as a handout or supplement to your Presentation. Presenter must provide UXPA International with information as to credit for all materials which were previously published or are subject to copyright ownership.
Subject to rights granted to UXPA International in this release, presenter retains all other rights to the Presentation and Materials. Should you publish or give permission to others to publish this Presentation at a later date, however, you and others must indicate that the work was produced as part of the UXPA International Annual Conference.
You represent that (a) the content of the Presentation and Materials is accurate to the best of your knowledge; and (b) the Presentation and Materials are your own original work, have not been published elsewhere, and will not infringe on any personal or property rights of any other person or organization, or, if previously published, you have secured any necessary permission so that UXPA International may now publish your work.
You hereby indemnify UXPA International and its representatives with respect to any claims, action or demands, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that may arise in any manner out of a breach of the above representations.
By submitting this proposal you understand and accept on behalf of all participants in this presentation to all of the above. Should this presentation abstract not be accepted for presentation this agreement is void.
