Given a chance, I would like to serve the UXPA community as a Director of Web Content Strategy.
I’ve been a member of UXPA and serving as a volunteer for more than 8 years. My first encounter with UXPA was as an onsite volunteer at the Austin conference. Since then I’ve been helping UXPA to build the international conference every year as a chair of various committees i.e. presentations, workshops and preconference courses. I’ve introduced the Unconference track at the UXPA 2010 conference and lead that track for 3 consecutive conferences.
I was a founding member of the UXPA Seattle chapter in 2007. Since then the chapter has grown as one of the strongest chapters in the USA. Currently I’m supporting the chapter as an officer to support chapter growth and local events.
My experience in the UX domain spans more than 18 years as Multimedia Programmer, Animator, UI Designer, Web Designer, UX Researcher and Accessibility Lead. I’m currently working at Microsoft as a Senior Design Researcher and Accessibility Leader.
I will bring many years of volunteer experience & organization development skills to the board position. If you support me, I wish to represent your voice, your web content needs.
