Nigel Bevan

Dear UXPA Community,

The UXPA International board was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Nigel Bevan, who contributed so much to the UX field over many years. As many of you already know, Nigel Bevan died on April 3 doing what he loved - hiking. He fell while exploring inside the Mulu National Park in Sarawak.

Nigel was a friend and colleague, a long-term member of UXPA International and a great contributor to the UX community. He served on the UXPA International Board from 2002 to 2007, and he was instrumental in getting World Usability Day started. He was a true thought-leader, working on many initiatives to push the UX field forward.

People who knew Nigel will remember him as a friendly, warm, loving guy. He was easy to talk to and always had fun stories and photos about travel and hiking. He will be deeply missed.

Do you have stories and photos to share about Nigel? Please send them to our director of Web. UXPA International is compiling stories about our friend and will share on our website.
