User Experience Researcher Lead or Consultant

Are you passionate for driving effortless and desirable end user experiences? Progressive is hiring a User Experience Researcher to work with business and designer partners, to validate that our products and systems create a great customer experience. In this position, you will be responsible for facilitating in-lab and on-line studies in addition to facilitating sprints and design workshops.

Qualifications: 

Must Have Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering) or a User Experience related field of study (e.g., Cognitive Psychology, Web Design, User Experience Design, Usability Science) 
  • Six years of user experience services work experience which could include user interface design, software development, quality assurance, usability test facilitation, navigation studies. Must include experience with multiple platforms (e.g., Windows, web, telephony, voice, wireless, PDA, web-based training) and prototyping tools (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  •  Instead of a degree, eight years of user experience services work experience which could include user interface design, software development, quality assurance, usability test facilitation, navigation studies. Must include experience with multiple platforms (e.g., Windows, web, telephony, voice, wireless, PDA, web-based training) and prototyping tools (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
