What you'll do
Working hand-in-hand with the product and engineering teams, you are responsible for driving the design process for high profile and impact applications for network management.The Sr. UX Manager position will play a pivotal role in leading the dramatic shifts in thinking, approach and execution of UX Design for the Enterprise Networking business. You will define a vision and strategy that lead our teams to deliver user experiences that change expectations in the industry for Cisco software.
You will be a member of the Enterprise Networking UX Management Team which is a positive and upbeat group of Design and Research leaders who are committed to changing the game for Cisco and ultimately the world through better networks.

Manage a team of UX Design Leads and Contributors through the development and delivery of high quality user experiences focused on simplification of complex network concepts and workflows.
Mentor and provide guidance to members of your team.
Lead the UX strategy for your area of responsibility by partnering with product owners, architects and development managers to deliver product strategies/solutions.
Partner with our User Research staff to ensure we are using user research to inform experience decision making in the most efficient manner possible.
Assist your UX Leads in sizing work across releases and sprints to ensure the commitments made by our team match with the resources at hand – purposefully looking to avoid team burnout and a total loss of work/life balance.
Define, evangelize, operationalize UX process from documentation structure, version control, publishing, interaction specifications, and quality across all the teams in our organization.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the UX process over time and optimize the documentation and delivery of our artifacts to ensure the best cross-functional collaboration possible.
Execute within our Agile/Continuous delivery model.
Evangelize good design practices, principles, and patterns. Contribute to a Cisco wide design practice.
