Designs user experiences and conducts research for member, prospect and staff-facing systems and applications for Corporate One and its affiliates. Helps to define business and user needs and leverages and interprets data to ensure goals are met. Provides support to company's member-facing efforts, enterprise projects, and data analytics initiatives.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of related progressive experience in user experience design and research, web/application design and development, and visual/interaction design in addition to educational requirements listed above. Experience with Agile methodologies. Experience with analytics measurement and analysis. Experience with accessibility requirements and audits. QA experience desirable.
Specific Job Knowledge and Skills Required: Skill in project management.
Technology Skills Required: Fluent in user experience design and research methodologies and tools, including user stories, wireframing, usability testing, information architecture, Balsamiq and Visio. Proficient with HTML, CSS, Javacsript, Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver), Excel and Google Analytics. Working knowledge of WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines, Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Pardot and Salesforce.com preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Defines highly usable design components, patterns, and workflows to be used consistently across applications. Prototypes, architects and designs interfaces and experiences to allow for informed consensus and allow for rapid testing and iteration of ideas prior to investing development and visual design efforts. Creates wireframes, sitemaps, customer journeys, process flows, polished visual and interaction designs and other artifacts.
Actively participates in qualitative and quantitative research to enable informed design decisions. Methods include: analytics reviews, competitor analyses, questionnaires, workshops, interviews, usability tests, secondary research, card sorts, and browser/QA testing. Creates artifacts to share knowledge with the company, including empathy maps, personas, customer journeys, and user stories.
Collects and assesses user experience and visual design trends, best practices, secondary research findings, and shares opportunities for advancement.
Works with the Data Scientist to ensure design decisions are supporting business and user goals. Helps with creating data visualizations and dashboards for management.
Incorporates formal project methodology for tracking and reporting project progress to the Manager, UX Strategy.
Flexible to perform other duties and projects as assigned.
