The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is looking for a UX Analyst. In the role, the analyst uses the application of user-centered design principles to deliver easy, simple, effective and efficient solutions for our users and to streamline their work. To that end, incumbent conducts UX research and analysis for Bank departments or Bank-wide projects, has a good understanding of and experience in conducting contextual interviews, leading focus groups, building personas, writing scenarios, conducting card sorts and getting users into a UX lab to try and solve the problem. Incumbent is also responsible for defining, developing and conducting user research and analysis utilizing a broad knowledge of user-centered testing methods and, when necessary, participates (strong contributor at senior level) as a member of a development team to meet user, client, and Bank objectives related to the quality of user interactions, interface design and overall user experience. At the senior level, recommends improvements in the delivery of UX services in advancement of strategic business objectives.
- Undergraduate degree and HFI, NNG or Bentley University UX certification required. Graduate degree preferred at the UX Analyst, Senior level.
- Three to five years of experience (5+ years at the UX Analyst, Senior level) applying research to interactive design, prototyping, and product and the development for website and web-based applications, or platform-level tools.
- At least one year experience (2+ years at the UX Analyst, Senior level) working in SDLC/agile/lean development environments.
